This Week's Stars

Just a few stars to share that I put together last night. You know, I lost count of how many I've made. I shall have to employ Bonnie's technique of pinning them together in groups of 10. A job for when I get off the computer.

I cut a few more fabrics to add to the mix, it was nice to get a couple of brighter ones in there. My commitment to putting 15 minutes aside clearly hasn't had 100% success, I'll have to do better.

Does anyone have a clue what the fabric is in the large (pink) square top left? I just love it, and have no idea where the small piece came from that was in my stash. It's so pretty, I really wish I had more of it.

And in completely unrelated news:

I don't have a problem ... honest!!

Tara I've got that fabric in a lighter pink colour way and the name on the selvage is Historical Memories 2002 for Red Rooster Fabrics.

Your scrappy star blocks have inspired me to start cleaning out my quilting room and I am cutting as I go so I can also have a scrappy star quilt. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love your stars. Once I seen them I went and made one. I love them. How do you get your little points so good?? I showed my quilting friend the star and she said, "starting another project huh?" Just cant resist! Love your blog too!

Hi Tazzi, I believe I have that fabric, about a yard of it in pink and yellow. The selvage says Fine Wines by Judy Roche and Corienne Kramer for Chanteclaire. Www.chanteclairefabrics.com. 572. I bought this several years ago, so I hope you can still find some around.
