Getting close ...

Lucky me, I only have three more of the large units left to make for the final Mrs Billings border. If I'm super good, I can have them done before the end of the day! Yay!

After that there is the small matter of the little four piece units, but they'll be a breeze. The finish line is drawing near! Chatter soon :-)

So jealous you have got out to the last border....you must be a very speedy whip stitcher! Well done!

OMG Tara I can just imagine you sitting under the aircon the only place where it is cool at the moment stitching furiously now that you are on the homeward stretch. The are looking wonderful. :-)
Stay cool

I absolutely cannot fathom the amount of work in this quilt. I am so happy you've stayed with it and it's almost done.

I guess by now you're all done and I bet it looks as perfect as the rest of your hexies.

It's going to be one hot weekend...good idea to stay inside and completely finish Mrs. Billings off I think!

This last border is beautiful. I cannot wait to see the finished quilt. You know, your Mrs. Billings was the first one I saw. It's your fault that now I am working on one of my own :)

Unfortunately, I have other things going on right now and haven't been able to work on it for a few weeks. Your picture today has me regretting that.

What a lot of work for one border of a quilt---but with this quilt, it seems normal!!!! Love how you had the edging hexies use the same print and how it goes down the other hexies in the stack. Just marvelous. This will be outstanding when done. It has been lots of fun to watch you do each section. I am amazed at how fast you go and how many pieces you have actually stitched into this one quilt!!! I love the hexagon shape, it has so many possibilities!! Keep on stiching Judy

Impressive stack there! Great job you're doing moving forward on this hugely time-consuming quilt!
