Royal Cross Update

Wow - our internet has been playing up, and after I typed up that last message, it took six hours before our internet was working well enough to post it!

I thought I'd quickly share how I'm going with my Royal Cross quilt. I've made twelve blocks now - thirteen to go. The blocks need to be pinned a LOT, so they are a little time consuming. Having said that, I still love working on them, and I'm loving how the design is coming together.

This will be my last post for 2007 - we're heading out shortly to ring in the new year with friends. It has gotten to just over 42c (108f) today, so whatever we do, we're going to be trying to stay cool! Have a great time celebrating! x o x

Have a Happy New Year. I am in awe of the temperature-good grief. Panting just thinking about it. This is part of what makes blogging so much fun. Other side of the world-stay cool. Bet I won't say that to anyone else today-it's a nippy 37 F here in NY

Have a super warm New Years! I woke to 2 inches of snow so I will be putting on my scarf and mittens! I love the extremes in our weathers! It makes my husband laugh. I think I should try to spend a christmas in Australia since I love the hot weather so much!!

Good job on your stash management. I have started using the scrap management system. got lots cut up and put away, now I just have to use it@!

I just LOVE this quilt. Keep up the good work. It's a good thing for you that you're so far away from me--this is the quilt I'd creep into your house in the middle of the night to steal. But I'd wait till you got it finished. LOL

Your colors are just delicious, yet it's a scrappy quilt. Would you be so kind as to post your color plan? I'm looking at it, and KNOW you probably gave this a good deal of thought before you chose your colors.
