This is probably as far as I'll get for a little while. I need to decide on the perfect inner border fabric for it, and then as you'll see in the next picture, I have a little work cut out for me for the next border.
I'm just learning how to use EQ7. I have never used any of the EQ programs before, so I'm on a little bit of a steep learning curve. Despite that, I was able to draw this project up, and I've elected to do a pieced border.Having said all that, it's my Mum's birthday really soon, so I may decide to put a more simple border on, quilt it and give it to her as a gift. I have a week to decide - and a girl just can't rush these decisions right? :-)

Wow, lots of piecing.It sure is pretty so far. I agree about not rushing the next step. You've put so much work in. It would be a shame to not frame it with the border you want.
Wonderful quilt. Just the thing for a leader ender project. I always keep a leader ender project beside my machine.
A terrific job with EQ! The quilt looks fantastic and will look wonderful with the pieced border.

Beautiful quilt. Leaders and enders is such a great idea.
I'm on my 4th version of EQ and it gets better every release. You'll get the hang of it pretty quickly

Your quilt turned out great! It's a beautiful quilt! I haven't got Bonnie's book(s), since they are not for sale back here in Norway yet, but I really want to try some of this ;o)

I love your 9 patch quilt- very nice design that you have created.
I think quilts tell us what needs to come next - sometimes you can't rush the process. Suddenly you will find the perfect way to finish it.

This is so yummy, nice colors, lively design. I'm with the others that say a good border is worth the wait/work. Maybe give your mum a photo and a promise? I'd be happy with that, if it were me!!

Your double 9-patch is beautiful - you've done a great job on it! That EQ programme looks very handy and helpful in the decision making process. I love leaders and enders too - cant sew without them!!
Fabulous quilt! EQ7 is on my list of things to learn this year. Are you teaching yourself, or are you using tutorials?
That quilt's quite lovely...I love how it makes te eye move across it.
It is coming along quite nicely. A checkerboard border would really make it sing - even more than it does now!
