Do you remember these scrap blocks? I was working on them a little while ago, and they just kind of evolved. Well, today I have time on my hands and I decided to play with them some more.
I have added another row to the blocks, all consistently the dark blue fabric. And now I'm in the process of piecing together the sashing strips. I'll make up nine patch cornerstones which will also contain the dark blue fabric. I'm excited about this project now. You'll be seeing some more progress soon :-)

I love this block!
Their looking good. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
This is really nice. It sometimes pays to let something sit for a while, then go back to it with fresh eyes.
LOL! Everytime that I visit your blog, I find another quilt that I want to do!!! :) I love this one too! You have a wonderful selection of reproduction fabrics!

You know friend, I've come here 3 times with every intention of writing a lovely comment because that's what we share - lovely comments and things. And of course because these are FANTABULOUS blocks and I do, I do, I do remember you working on these. Of course I do. But I never stop because I can't think of anything lovely to write and I'm always tired or cranky at the computer these days. So I'm just doing a stream of consciousness note and hoping you'll understanding. No, take that back. Certain you'll understand. Warmly and all that business and definitely your ever lasting friend, *karendianne.
Love the scrappy repro blocks - right up my alley.
Is this your own pattern? It's wonderful! Care to share? ;-)
Once again, another collection of beautifully blended values and colors and fabrics. I come to your site for visual ideas. 8-)))
I just love your blocks. I can't wait to see what it looks like all done.
