Almost the big day!

Our big day is drawing closer, only two days to go, so I wanted to take this time to wish all my lovely friends a very merry Christmas!

And if Christmas is not your thing, I'm sending you all my best wishes and hope you have a wonderful holiday season too xox

As is tradition, I've made up a gingerbread house to grace our table - it was inspired by many on Pinterest and was super fun. I enjoyed working on this house so much I kind of didn't want it to be finished:

With the leftover gingerbread dough, I cut out some snowglobe cookies, I'm in the middle of icing those at the moment, so hopefully I'll have something cute to share with you next time.

I don't remember if I mentioned that earlier I sent a small quilt to one of Marty's work colleagues that lives in the USA. Each year they send us the loveliest handmade cards. Well, this week we received a box in the mail from them, and it had this amazing papercraft creation inside:

Isn't it just glorious? We are so very blessed to have such lovely friends spread across the globe.

Tonight I'm going to put my feet up, it has been a busy day - I think we're all organised for our celebrating, and I can't wait! Chatter soon! xox

What an incredible gingerbread house! I am very impressed.
And I hope we get to see the snowglobe cookies, too! :)
That is a really pretty paper creation. I love the way the inner light emphasizes the depth and dimension. What a treasure! How do you store it??
I am also impressed that you are organized enough to put your feet up the day before Christmas Eve! Can you give me lessons? LOL
