Caswell Block B4

Here is the latest block for the Caswell quilt, I'm thrilled to have another one checked of the list - this project has me hooked!

Caswell Quilt - Block B4

This is a bit of an odd looking block isn't it? It feels great to have finished it and I can get busy on the next one. I've made 17 of them now, the first three rows are entirely done and two random blocks in the lower half of the quilt. I think I'll have to work on them in order going forward, otherwise I'll be tempted to leave the hardest ones until last, and I don't want to do that again. I learned my lesson while working on the Nearly Insane quilt - some doozies in that project!

I was also going to share a picture of a block I made for an exchange I participate in recently, but I forgot to suck it out of the phone camera, so I'll have to take a rain-check. I wonder if I can remember for the next post?

Better run, it's getting late already - days go by so fast! Chatter soon xoxox

This is an interesting block. Two different flowers on the same plant. They are each pretty. Seeing your beautiful blocks has convinced me that I should make my own reproduction quilt. I have decided to make the 1857 quilt, although I will be using fusible applique to make sure I finish it!

you are moving along! I think I might turn mine into a smaller quilt and do make 2 more to have 9 blocks, do some sashing and add a border - I am loosing interest in traditional applique for some reason. Glad to see you are doing well with yours though.

Beautiful appliquéd. It's downer when the last blocks are super challenging. Good strategy not to leave those till last.

Lovely as usual. I am enjoying your blocks so much! And I love your term "sucking the photo out of the camera". That is just how I feel about it!

Wow your blocks are awsome and the fabric you have chosen does the justice. Thanks for the eye candy
