Bits and Pieces

Marty and the kids went out for a visit yesterday while I was busy working on Maureen's quilt. What was their destination? It was the home of one of Holly's sisters. She's had kittens. They're around 5 weeks old, and will be looking for a good home in a few weeks.

We know of a good home - this one! We decided we didn't want to leave Holly by herself for too long, so these kittens have arrived at a good time. There are three boys and three girls (a grey one and another ginger one not in the picture). I don't think any decisions were made about which one will come home with us - but time will tell I guess.

On a quilty note - not much stashbusting happening for me this week, so not a great deal to report on Judy's blog. I have been quilting on Maureen's quilt. I guess I'm about 1/5 done, I hope to get a lot more done today.

Have a great day everyone! :-)

They are so cute. Congratulations on your new baby, whichever one it turns out to be. I am very glad we got 2. They keep each other company when everyone is off to school and work. I'm sure Holly will be very happy with her new brother/sister.

Adorable kittens, Tazzie. And what is more fun than two (or more!) together?

See my last blog post for my latest fun and games with our furry felines...they're NOT as cute when they grow up!

Very cute kitties and great timing. I bet the future kitty settles in with its cousin in no time.

Love the little kitties! I'd go with a ginger kitty.

Oh, so happy about your new family member soon! I think that is wonderful.

Keep us all posted, and pictures of which one!

Thanks for posting.

My vote would be for that feisty orange one with the white feet.

How on earth could you choose ? They are all so adorable. We have a black & white cat, a tabby and a grey cat. The kids keep asking for a ginger one to add to the mix but I'm sticking to 3 - lol !

There'd be no contest for me - I'm and always have been a sucker for grey cats

soon you can get over from your missing cat, so cute they are,

That would be a really tough decision. I tend to choose ginger or calicos...but grey would be nice too. (This is why my DH will not let me look in the windows of pet stores!)

I'm looking for a black kitten. Too bad you and your sister don't live Near Philadelphia!

Hello Tazzie- we are sorry to hear about Madeline. Very sad. She is cat heaven with my Sam. Donna and I are thinking of you today. I will write soon.

What sweeties! I'm sure Madaline would approve! Let's see... Holly is orange so one to match? Or in memory of Madaline a black one? One of each! When is the new family member coming home? Looking forward to hearing all about him/her.
