Drawing done

One of the things on my list of goals for this month is to draw up the Zig Zag Nine Patch quilt the way I want to make it up. This is one of Bonnie's Leader and Ender projects, and I fell in love with it the minute I saw it. In Bonnie's quilt, she has cut some nine patches in half at the top and bottom of the quilt, and I decided I'd rather not do that, and I also wanted to check out how many blocks and setting squares I'd need. So, here's the quilt I drew up last night.

I have found that I already have too many blocks, so I may end up making a lap quilt also. I don't think I want to make the quilt any larger, as it's going to be 70"x90" already.

So that I can finish off a couple of last things from my goals for this month, I'll hold off on putting this quilt together until next month. I'd like to get a few more Xmas gifts made and I would love to get the Winnie the Pooh quilt on the move again.

Last night I did some more knitting, I've almost finished the scarf for my MIL. There was nothing I wanted to watch on the box while I was knitting, so I put one of my favourite movies on and clicked away. I chose Breakfast at Tiffanys, I just love that movie.

Well, that's it from me, have a great day! x o x

your design for the nine patch blocks looks good. Hope you'll post your progress on this quilt.
Did you use EQ to draw it up or some other program?

Nice 9-patch design!

This is one of my favourite layouts on Bonnies site. One day I'll have enough nine patches to make one of my own.

The EQ drawing looks great -I can't wait to see the actual quilt. I'm also anxious for the new version of EQ to come out - are you planning to upgrade?

Hi Tazzie- Nice setting for our blocks! Please send measurements
:-D Does "stone fruit" mean fruit with a pit in the middle? How far is Port Adelaide from you? I am having a hard time remembering how to send this note - so you might get it three times!
