Tiny fur-person

Here we have the newest member of our family. A so far unnamed (and we think a girl) ginger kitty. She arrived last night, and so far has been just a joy. I expected some fretting last night, but she was really just fine. Amy is away with my parents at the beach house and has no idea of her arrival (we were keeping it as a surprise), so imagine how thrilled she'll be when she gets home. Cam of course is loving her to bits ... hopefully not literally! More pictures after I've emptied the camera ... I'm using the phone right now.

And here is the watermelon hat I've started for my SIL's baby which is due in April. This one is coming out a bit bigger than I hoped, so next month I'll make one smaller for a newbie baby. The fun just never stops! Have a great weekend everyone!

Cute kitty! I also love the hat. Are the seeds knitted in or are they beads? I have a few GD's who would love that hat. I saw a pattern online awhile ago so maybe in spring...

What an adorable little Apricot fluff ball, Tazzie! Amy will be absolutely overwhelmed, I'm sure.

The hat is turning out to be adorable. May need to make one of those myself. What size needles did you use?

Welcome to little kitty :-)
Your watermelon hat is coming along nicely. If you ever make it in red with white specks you have a strawberry or in blue with a green top you have a blueberry. They were very popular here when my girls were small, with matching sweathers. Cute! Your zigging and zagging looks very good too!

Oh your kitty is soooo cute. Amy is going to be so happy.
If your house is anything like mine whatever you name her she will hardly ever be called that anyway. :o)

The kitten is so sweet! She looks very much like ours (though she's almost 5 now!). We decided to name ours Pumpkin, but DD changed it after two days, and now her name is Peanut Butter.
