Family Room

The table runner is all finished, and in place on the coffee table in the family room. I really love how it looks.

Recently Kathie commented "There are subtle cues in your home tipping off the visitor that this is the home of a quilter..." Honestly ... I just don't know what she means!

Off to the movies this morning - we're seeing Mr Bean. I think the kids will love it, should be fun!

Oh I loved it when I saw it earlier this evening and now here it is on your coffee table! I really, really love it now! Of course I would really really like a coffee table to use one on too!

I love your table runner! I don't see anything wrong with letting visitors know that a quilter lives here! *LOL*

LOL, only subtle clues????

Love the table runner -- and hey, at least your clues are subtle. My sewing machine, ironing board and fabric all over the kitchen/dining area/seen from the entire first floor of the house clue is something less than that.

Oh Tazzie, it turned out beautifully! What a great choice for that room.

The original comment was on the fact that there were several sewing machines marching across the top of a big wall unit--subtle indeed!

I LOVE IT!!

I love seeing the signs that a quilter lives here. I always know I'd feel at home and that there would be lots to talk about.

Lovely table runner Tazzie :-)
You know I sew in the corner of my living room, so I am given away as a quilter once you enter my house.

You're table runner fits your room and the sofa just perfectly! Subtle?! One time a child asked me why I had all the blankets on my walls!

On a coffee table, resting on the back of a chair, or hanging on the wall--- I think people are always surrounded by their passions. I'm so glad quilting is yours... and mine. Think about other people --- I can't imagine my home without quilts.

Whether a quilt is on a bed, wall or coffee table it is an extension of our creativity and it is art. Your's is lovely.
