As the Royal Cross quilt has been sent and is visiting with the magazine - and I only have one more customer quilt here to work on (my other project {PIF} is super secret!) I thought I'd do a little piecing toward putting a few lovelies in my Etsy Store. Judging by how little I did today, it's going to be a while before I finish anything up - but starting up a few HST's is better than doing nothing right? :-)
I do have my next magazine quilt to work on, but I'm waiting on some fabric to arrive for that one. Then I can make final decisions about what coordinates to use. A bit thank you to my Editor - Marianne, for having such faith in my ability to produce nice quilts from such sketchy details!
And I just have to ask ... further to the Jane Austen quiz ... did anyone at all not end up being Elinor Dashwood?? Everyone that communicated with me has been her so far, and I even took the quiz again with different answers and still came up as Elinor! Bizarre!

I'd not done this one but I tried it just now and came up with - guess who - yep Elinor Dashwood! Mind you I've never read an Austen novel in my life so wouldn't know who she was if she walked up to me in the street so there you go!
I tried the version of the quiz that you have on your blog and came out as Lizzy. I also tried a similar quiz a couple of months ago and I was most like Lizzy then, as well (that quiz gave you a percentage for how similar you were to various characters).
I've been reading your blog for a while now and I love your quilts! It brightens my day to see what new project you are working on, or the progress you have made.

Which magazine did you send it to? I hope you let us all know when it will be out and available!! I LOVE that quilt!
I came out as Elizabeth Bennet (hope I spelled that right).
I was Elinor, too. lol
I was Anne Elliott - TWICE!
I took the quiz and I can't remember the name, but it was the one played by Kate Winslet.
I was Elinor Dashwood, also--and I just read the book on Saturday, so that was kind of cool!
They said I was Elizabeth Bennett, but then I had said that I liked my father and older sister and was totally unlike my mother and other sisters!
The thing with that quiz is that you could tell each possible answer which character they were talking about.
I was Anne Elliott.
Elizabeth Bennet which is a bit strange because I judge nobody. Ah well
