I was working away this morning putting some blocks together for a new project, and Gracie thought she'd come and investigate. Rather than just sit nearby, she wanted to be right in on the action and placed herself firmly into my box of 2.5" squares.
My cell phone camera was the only thing handy, so I grabbed it to take the picture - hence the poor quality.
I kept on stitching and put some more blocks together. It didn't take long before Gracie was fast asleep. It's exhausting work, this supervising business ...
Also, I wanted to add a little note regarding the Scrap Basket Lattice quilt. I checked with the girls at the quilt shop this morning, and they tell me that Susan doesn't actually sell the pattern for that quilt - it's one that she only teaches as a workshop. I'm so sorry to disappoint, I know the quilt has been a big hit with so many of you.

Gracie already knows how to be a good helper. I also love the Lattice quilt from you last post.
Gracie is so cute sleeping and supervising. The house we rent now is pet-free. I am tempted to move just so I can get a kitty.
Aww, helper kitty is so cute! The Lattice quilt is lovely, and your quilting really compliments it perfectly.
Gracie is so adorable! I just love "helper" kitties! My 5 regularly fill this position at my house!
If you're going to do the job of furry quilt supervisor properly it needs to be done up close - closer the better - and it is hard work!! Bless her, she was obviously concentrating really hard and needed to recharge those batteries. Cute :)
I love the pictures of Gracie. I have two of those 'helpers' myself. I love all the work you do.

Thanks for your update about the lattice basket quilt you made, it is realy GREAT !! but soo sorry to hear that there is only a workshop to make it. For me it is to far away to go to it... (living in the Netherlands) so have to figure out myself how to make it.....mmmm....
Love the kitty supervising you!!
Ingrids comment is cute...yes its a bit too far for some of us to go but that lattice quilt is something else!!!
Kitty love to Gracie.
Gracie is too cute. I have two kitties who love to sleep in my boxes of projects too.
Gracie is adorable (and knows a good place to sleep when she finds it). Do you think Otto could move to the states? I know getting my machine cleaned takes a week at a minimum. And it needs cleaning desperately!
I love the way cats 'help' us with our fabrics and quilts. VBG
What a cutie! She's growing up right! What could be better than a quilt block to sleep on!?
Gracie looks like my Nina.
