I'm still itching to be done with 'block 2' of Mrs Billings Coverlet - so I got busy and stitched the tiny squares and triangles together that form the next round.
All that remains to do now is to attach another framing border, and I can move onto 'block 3'. It's fun that they're called blocks, but since this quilt is a medallion, the blocks are really a series of borders :-)
Miss Holly doesn't like being alone, so she's helping me out in the sewing room.
Now that I'm tapping away on the laptop, she's snagged my chair. She better not get comfortable!

Tazzie, I just love your fabric choices!! This coverlet is going to be a treasure!
What a beautiful quilt - I love it! And your kitty is gorgeous too.
Everytime I see this I fall in love all over again and your piecing is just divine, Tazzie. Divine! Not quite as divine as Miss Holly because she looks like a very special snuggly kitteh… :) and we love us our kitteh's. :)
Your quilt is coming along beautifully! And Molly is a lovely girl, and so sweet to keep you company while you work!
How is it possible that this quilt gets more lovely with each addition? Nice work!
Really tiny pieces! But you're doing a beautiful job as all your borders look straight and flat. Wonderful.
I have a sewing companion too--actually an EVERYTHING companion since she follows me around and supervises quite closely.
so far it's really beautiful, can't wait to see the progress!
I just came across your blog and this amazing quilt. Can you tell me where I might find the pattern. I'm in Canada but can purchase anywhere.
Thanks so much
Ruth
