This could take a while!

Thank heavens I love to hand quilt, because this is really going to take a while!

I've quilted five blocks now, and I'm just about to start on the sixth :-) It's not easy to see in the picture, but you can get an idea of where I'm heading with the quilting pattern. There is a four petal flower in each block, and a circle surrounding each block in the sashing strips.

Marty will be away this weekend, so I'm hoping to entirely cocoon myself and get lots and lots of stitching done - it has been so cold lately that quilting is just the perfect activity to keep warm. Chatter soon! xox

Looking good! You'll have it done in not time flat as we're leading into winter and that's great quilting weather!

I love it! And you will be done before I ever finish my big quilt I"m hand quilting. Although I did work on it quite a bit the last few months. Some YEAR it will be done!

nothing like a good warm quilt top to be quilting on when the weather is chilly outside. Hope you get a lot done this weekend.

The quilting is perfect for your quilt! I love to hand quilt too, but my stitches are much bigger than yours. It was lovely to meet you today. I love that I have a quilting shop just at the bottom of my street. I'm sure I'll see you again soon as I get back into quilting.

Please tell me how you marked your top for quilting. I have tried several ways but haven't found a favorite yet.
