It's not Friday, but I wanted to quickly check in before the end of the month to share these June finishes:
This is my June monthly mini quilt. I used an applique block from Sue Garman's Afternoon Delight quilt. I just love everything that Sue ever made! I was able to use plenty from my scrap drawers, and had fun with the quilting too:
Thankfully my machine behaved itself this time, perhaps fooling with the bobbin tension was just what Bernie needed.
And I've made ten blocks towards Chooky Blue's Churn Dash sew-along. Click on the image in my side bar to take you to Chooky's blog and see all the participants.
There are nine blocks in the picture, one didn't make it in. I'm going to sash the blocks using 2" strips, I'll need to rustle around in the stash to find something nice and bright.
I'll leave off here as this is only a quick catch up post, and I'll check in with you all again on Friday! xoxox

love that applique block - one day perhaps I will get to this quilt - LOL - but there are so many on the list already
The quilting on the mini is beautiful. Love your churn dashes.
Your mini is wonderful! The appliqué center makes it truly special and your workmanship is impeccable. One of these days I’m going to make something with churn-dash blocks - yours is looking good 🙂.
June's mini is sweet as can be. Your applique is lovely. 😊
Your mini is as sweet as it can be, and season-spanning too. I'm enjoying seeing everyone's churn dash blocks, hoping to find the time and energy to start one next winter. Too late to enjoy sewing along but fun to see everyone's finished quilts.
Wow you got a lot done. Hard to believe it is the end of June.
Thank you for sharing and look forward to Friday's post. Happy Stitching.
What a glorious mini! I adore the entire thing, but that center really makes me smile. Love it! And you are coming right along on those Churn Dash blocks. I really wanted to join in but life got in the way.
That is a beautiful mini quilt! Wonderful job on the quilting.
I really like the way you are using a consistent green on the "bars" and consistent background on your churn dash blocks, but throwing in wonderful, colorful fabrics in the center and corners. I recognize some Kaffe, but it looks like there are other designs as well. Great job!
Very pretty and your CD’s are coming along great! I start on my next 20 this week-end! Hugs
Your blocks look great, Tazzie. Using the same fabric where you've used the green for all the blocks gives a whole different look to the blocks when set together.
Your applique quilt is delightful. The hourglass border sure sets off the applique in the center. It's a great finish.
nice bright churn dash blocks......they look good........
What a lovely fun variation!
love your colourful Churn Dash blocks...
