Tree Skirt

Here's a little something I have been working on this afternoon - it's a very simple tree skirt, the cute fabrics are doing the talking.

It's destined to be a shop sample, and we'll be kitting it up, ready for people looking for a fast and easy project.

Can't believe I'm working on a Christmas project already, but I guess you can never be too prepared right? After all, it just seems like yesterday we were celebrating New Years, and here it is March already!

I'm heading back into the sewing room now - I'm going to finish quilting on Prue's Hydrangea quilt before I get busy quilting on the tree skirt.

Be sure to have a great weekend :-)

Delightful project. Just the thing for a quick start to getting in the mood for the holidays.

Yes, I suppose it is time to think about Christmas! We certainly still have enough snow in places!

It looks beautiful ...

Speaking of snow... we already have a foot or more on the ground, packed, and this morning it was snowing so hard that we almost had a white-out. My husband is trying to get himself worked up to tackle it with the snow blower, now that it stopped. Only about 4-6 added.

I love this tree skirt. How big is it?

Oh that is just too cute! Now is that your pattern or is it in a book? I"m thinking Holly for a shower gift! She is getting the coffee table runner I made today.
