My darling precious Bernina is making the alarming 'growling graunching' sound again :-(
Otto did warn me that it could come back - I didn't expect it to be within mere days tho! It's raking at my heart that my little work-horse clearly isn't well. And it's killing me that a long weekend is a-wasting. I don't have a back up plan - I guess it's back into the Bernina Health Spa on Tuesday.
What to do ... what to do ...

Oh Tazzie hun,
This sounds like more than the health spa - probably Intensive Care. Hope she comes back to you 100% fit.
In the meantime you'll just have to do some piecing on that gorgeous Featherweight of yours.
I agree with clare, sounds more like a hospital visit. Hope its not major surgery, don't want to think beyond that, positive thoughts for a speedy recovery being sent your way ... lol :o)
hmmm think it may be time for a new sewing machine????
we use are machines so much and think they will last forever!
not what you wanted to hear I bet!!!!
LOL
Kathie
new machine....new machine...new machine...
I really do sympathise, having been without mine for a week recently. I'm hoping to upgrade soon, too, and will be keeping my current machine (handy when one needs spa treatment to have a backup!).
Oh, Tazzie, am sorry you are having mechanical problems with your Bernina, what an inconvenience.
I had this bad sound last year. Took it to the Bernina dealer for repair and it was my "HOOKER"! I asked what that was and she talked like just a simple piece that broke and had to be replaced. 75.00Has worked fine ever since.
Ask about your hooker maybe thats it.
Good luck, I hate being without my machine for any length of time.

I'm with Kathie and Emma, perhaps it's time to retire your machine and get a new one.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble. You can borrow mine if you want, I have a serious lack of sewing time lately so it is free....
Hope Otto can fix it quick for you :)
I can't believe you only have one machine? Is your featherweight operational? Oh well, more time for scrabble.
Lurking Linda
