In stolen moments, I've been chipping away at the Montmellick Di Ford mystery. I'm still humming along on border number 5, and the finish line for this part is growing so close:
Just one side left to go, and I can get busy putting part 6 together. Part 6 includes a pieced star border, and then a final border print. If you haven't seen it, you can check it out on the Quilt Mania website.
But before I get busy on part 6, I'm going to spend some time sorting out the sewing room, it's getting kind of messy and I find it hard to sew when I'm edgy in my environment. I may also have to send some of my fabric out into the world. I have Way. Too. Much. Fabric. Not sure I ever thought I'd say that!!
Alrighty, I have some chores to take care of, then it's back to the appliqué, chatter soon!

This is just so stunning. I've been watching your progress and I'm so in awe of your work!
send fabric out!! lol - know exactly what you mean and I almost jumped in on Black Friday sales and decided not to at last minute - I do not need more right now.
love your quilt.
I looks wonderful. I have finished part 5 but am waiting until the new year to even think about the last part!
It has been exciting to see the progression of this quilt. It's amazing.
Your mystery quilt is so beautiful! I had good intentions, but never got further that making the templates for the center. Hopefully I will have more time this winter. Congrats to you for keeping up and creating such a wonderful quilt!
Your Montnellick quilt is coming along beautifully Taz.
Hmnnn- if you're going to be cleaning out your sewing room - there might be some fabric you no longer need...maybe I should come and help you?
Beautiful! I'm sure you can't wait to finish it! Very pretty.
