Because I simply couldn't face any more hexagons last night, I decided I should get busy and make some more scrappy stars. It didn't take me long at all to fall behind on my commitment of four blocks per week for the year - but I think I was behind from the beginning! Here are my latest efforts:
I'm going to make more today - in fact I'd like to work on them all day - let's see how far I get with that. I'm getting better at being more scrappy, and I'm cutting out extra pieces for future blocks as I go. I've made 10 blocks so far ... and I should have made around 36 ... Ooops!

It takes serious commitment to fit 25 hours of sleep into a 24 hour day, and Gracie is just the kitty to achieve it! Chatter soon :-)

Loving those stars - and kitty!!!! I think my cats could be a serious challenge in the sleep stakes.

I like your scrappy blocks & Gracie is so cute! I have a question for you in the same vein as a quilt sighting on TV, do you ever look at other bloggers blocks & see how many of those fabrics you own? I do! I have a couple of pieces of fabric like in your blocks above. I have OCD by the way, lol!
I'd like to be a cat - sleeping the day away sounds like a grand idea.
Im really enjoying seeing your scrappy stars...kinda makes me want to get my own scrap box out.
