I am really on a roll right now - I can see the finish line, and I'm sprinting toward it!
The binding is completely stitched down, and I've attached the label - only one more thing to check off the list and I'm entirely done!
I'm so pleased I used the green for the binding - the pink and green fabrics, and the purple from the cornerstones were all contenders - but the green was my final choice. I'm really happy with it, and that's what counts :-)
Thank you everyone for your lovely comments on my last post - I will respond to them all over the next couple of days (except for the couple of anonymous ones - still just lovely, but I won't have email addresses for them). Better run, it's getting late - chatter soon!

Someday, I hope to make such an incredible quilt! Congratulations on such a gorgeous finish!
I agree, the green binding looks great! The quilt is just amazing. Congrats on such a wonderful job.
It's beautiful. I have to ask what that ONE MORE THING is? Writing on the Label? Hanging sleeve? It looks done to me! The last thing I do is take a nap under it. lOL
congrats on your finish...what an awesome journey!
I sew want to make this quilt... but all of those little pieces are making me a little apprehensive. I guess I'll have to just make up my mind and do it.... next summer after school is out :o)
congratulations on a lovely finish!
The green binding really works with it, just lovely. I'm almost tempted to make this quilt, but I think I would need to finish up a couple of other projects before I started such a mammoth undertaking.
I'm still stunned at the speed you put on to get this entire quilt hand quilted. Amazing feat! Love the green binding bunches :)
Even just seeing that corner of it I can see that you are right, that binding was a great choice. Great work!!
Beautiful! Isn't handquilting satisfying? Love it!
