Okay, here 'tis

You know what, I expected a little of the 'ewwww' factor when I mentioned my little birthday giftie from Marty and the kids. I didn't see any of that, but maybe it's because you're all so polite.

I was chatting to one of my friends the other day and said that I was perhaps going to put a picture of the ring onto the blog. She had an interesting point ... 'be careful how you do that, you could end up with a whole new element of odd people coming across your blog'. That concept hadn't even entered the realms of possibility for me, so I've cropped my picture down heaps, so hopefully it's completely uninteresting to anyone other than my buddies ... Hmmm ... ugly picture ... but there you have it!

On a completely different note, and much more relevant to the general nature of this blog ... I finished the binding last night on the Xmas table runner for Christine, so I can strike the 'gift' goal off my list for this month. I have a few goals still to achieve, hopefully this afternoon I can get a few more done.

My recently re-discovered friend from school is coming over for lunch this afternoon, which will be super fun. That means this morning I'm going to do some cute things around the house and get lunch ready. After school and this evening are the only times I'll have for quilting, and I don't imagine there will be much of that going on. Don't you just hate it when chores and life get in the way!!

Ha! Your friend may be right about the foot fetish thing. I mentioned somewhere on-line once that I bite my fingernails and I started getting e-mails from some guy wanting all sorts of details about my nail biting! Ew! Hopefully you won't hear from a "toe guy".....

Cool, Tazzie...I LIKE it! But in hot weather, when your feet tend to, um (trying to put this delicately!) perspire a bit, does the ring have a tendency to slide off? Inquiring minds need to know!

*gives an evil eye to any foot fetishists that may be lurking out there*

I think it's cute, and looks great with the polish too!

All looks very trendy with the toe ring and groovy nail polish. A note with your coffee cup mats that I was just looking at... I make them and include a broken up cinnamon stick or even dried rosemary in them and whenever they sit the hot coffee down it releases the lovely aroma.

Great work and always good to see another Aussie. tracey

Nice toe ring and no, I am not a foot festishist! Lol. I like the sandals too. We are soooo far from sandal weather here. -19 and lots of snow. No need for toe rings around here.

I think of all the places one can put rings nowadays.....toes are way down on the "Oh no, Ick!" list. If I wanted to show off my feet, I think I would consider one.

Happy belated birthday Tazzie. I think the ring is cute, and if I wasn't too lazy to wear jewelry, I would consider one for myself.
