Finally I put together a few more of my scrappy star blocks. These are so much fun and fast to make, I don't know why I haven't made more of them.
I need to go through my 1.5" strip box and cut out some more pieces, I've exhausted the small supply I'd already put aside. While this is a sweet project to work on, it doesn't seem to make a visible dent in the scrap box supply. I can't imagine I'll EVER run out of scraps!!

I know the feeling, I don't feel like I have made a dent in my scraps either.
Tazzie, your getting more and more scrappy the more stars you make. I'm loving it! I named my scrappy star quilt "Retirement Insanity". When I was lucky enough to retire much earlier than I'd planned I decided to use up some of my scraps. Your so right, using 1.5" strips doesn't even begin to make a dent in the scrap pile. That's why I named my quilt what I did. Guess when you retire you have more time than common sense! Good luck on your stars and keep posting them!

I love these scrappy stars. You are tempting me to make some, too.

nice stars (and easy? where can I find that pattern?).
Man, you motor through your quilt making don't you. Fabulous as usual!! :-)
Love your scrappy stars! You are one busy girl. However, scraps multiply behind your back...they are sneaky!
These are such fun. I dream about having the time to make a dent in my scraps...
