I've finally bitten the bullet and made myself a new banner. I had to wait to have my favourite drawing packages installed - and then set aside some 'playing' time.
I ended up challenging myself to learn a little about Photoshop CS3. I've never really used it too much before, and it is HARD! I'll give it some time and do some more tutorials over the holidays - maybe then I can make up something more interesting.
It's bedtime soon - and I haven't quilted at all today - what a strange day :-)

Tazzie! I totally dig it. The new banner had a great vibe.
Sewful Love, *karendianne.
Well you did better than me! Last time I needed something done in photoshop I got DD to do it for me. It's so easy for her.
Great Banner.
Now that you are becoming a blog expert I have a question. I love reading people's blogs directly from their webpage as this gives me the pleasure of reading from colorfully designed pages. However, I don't individually click all the blogs I read each day, as I don't know which ones have been updated. Therefore, I read my blogs via Bloglines. In Bloglines everything is printed on a white background and this takes a lot of the fun out of the process. Do you know how I can identify which blogs are updated so that I may read directly from their webpages instead of bloglines?
Sincerely

REally cute banner! I should do the same thing. My banner is soo boring. But I am on the computer all day at work so when I get home that's the last thing I want to do!I'd rather be quilting!!
Great banner and love the new look...there is sooo much you can do with photosdhop and doing some on line tutorials is a great way to learn. There are lots of tips about photoshop, layers and masks if you search using digital scrapbooking... And it has a neat feature called color match which you can learn more about here http://www.unfocusedbrain.com/projects/match_color/
have fun!
Oh I love your new banner! Especially the saying!
