I have been madly hand quilting away, and with good progress - sadly though - endless hand quilting does not make for good blog fodder, so I've neglected you all, but you know that once this project is finished, I'll be back to blogging more regularly.
Here's a little area on the quilt that I've completed out to the zig zag border.
The border area should be much faster to quilt - well, at least I'm hoping so anyway!
And this is the last of the blocks I have to quilt - one little half block - with any luck I'll have it done tonight and I can concentrate on the border. Once the blocks are finished I'll swap over to my square 'hoop' for the border - much easier! But for some reason I don't like the square one as much when I'm working on the middle of the quilt. I don't question it ... I just go with it :-)
Lots of chores to get done today, and then hopefully some stitching time this evening ... must get busy!

Oh so close, how exciting. Are you planning to put it in the Adelaide Quilt show, I think thats what you implied after your last post. I do hope so i'd love to see it for real.
Very very close to finishing--that is so great. What a joyful time you have had will all this intimate time spent on a special quilt!

Yes, never question yourself, especially if it's going to interrupt the 'flow'! I bet you can hardly wait to get this out of the way, what a big job it's been, but I truly admire your diligence. I wouldn't have been so dedicated, I'm sure.
Just lovely Tazzie. I've missed seeing all your blocks, but will see the finished quilt soon no doubt. I think I am nearly half way with my blocks.
