Block 4 - Texas Tears

Here is block four of the Civil War Quilts project - Texas Tears. Love these T blocks - long time readers will know I made a very special quilt from a similar block :-)

Is anyone thinking 'I haven't seen your block 3 yet'? Ummm yeah ... I haven't started that one ... Just haven't felt in the mood for applique yet ... (or I'm just terminally lazy) I'll let you decide :-)

  2. You're not Lazy, just choosing to do that one later like me. Maybe on a Road trip... Did you have trouble with it coming out the right size?

  3. I love your block, and the blue fabric you've used, which I happen to have it used in another quilt.
By the way I find your treadle awesome. My grandmother have one and the sewing machine, I have been always attracted to it.

  4. Feel free to copy me on the Seven Sisters block! I chose another star shape completely!!!

Your Texas Tears is lovely. I posted my first one but now realise that my T is not quite right, so I'm making another one to see where I went wrong.
1 7/16" is a pain!!! NONE of my rulers have 16th's marked... do you own one that does???? Anyway, without telling ALL, I am now working on version # 3, as # 2 went all wrong - then discovered my X was wrong size.... boo hoo!

    OK, here we go again.........
