Whaddya mean it's not a bed?

While tapping yesterday's post into the computer, Gracie decided she'd go ahead and make herself comfortable.

It was Marty who discovered her. He's so much faster with the camera than me (and a much better photographer I might add).

She was most put out when I heaved her 'offa' there. Any surface is a kitty bed ... any surface at all.

  3. It's funny how all cats love quilts. I used to find our cat on top of my scrap bins, but had to get used to shut the door to my sewing room, or else I would never get rid of all the hairs... I just don't want to wash it all one more time... and even then it wouldn't get off the fabrics!
I'm going to make the cat his own quilt, and it's one of my goals this year ;o)
That quilt is turning out so great! I love the scrappy quilts so much, and find myself cutting everything but scraps, to make them... and end up getting more scraps... guess I'll be better use the scrap bins from now on:o)
    Have a great weekend,
    Laila

  4. That picture makes me want to own a cat again. It also makes me want to work on my Dear Jane blocks. And set up a vignette with my treadle; like I need to be distracted from my sewing. Great photo though, and your new blocks look wonderful.

  12. Tazzie,
Our cat Mars looks lots like your orange one. Mars is like Gracie, she thinks that all quilting materials are meant for her- In our summer time, when my husband is wearing shorts instead of long pants, Mars refuses to sit on his hairy legs. She thinks Bruce ought to have a quilt to cover them up.Occasionally he even obliges! Cats are too funny! What is your orange cat's name? Your quilt looks lovely on your treadle machine.
    Regards,
    Anna
