Yaaaay! The top is finished!! I'm not going to add borders - I like the way the top looks kind of vintage just ending like that. I'm entirely thrilled with how it's come out.

I like how it looks with the stars and a kind of a secondary pinwheel. I'm sure your next project will be just as good looking. Kudos for a job well done!
It sparkles even more now. What a spectular pattern. I've studied it a bit and I can't decide what "pops" more, the deep pink cornerstones or the black/white squares. Love it.
It is so beautiful! I just love your fabric / color selection. I found the pattern for the block - it is called Dogstooth Violet, it is in a book called The Quilter's Recipe Book by Celia Eddy.
