Progressing!!

I've been quilting away this weekend, and yesterday I came to something of a milestone ... I reached the outer border for the first time!

I can't get too excited, as there is still plenty to go ... but it does help with the feeling that the finish line is in sight. Alrighty ... I have a couple of chores to finish, and then I'm back to some more quilting! Chatter soon :-)

  2. I love how you have drawn your hexagons in the area where you appliqued - will look really good for a quilt pattern. You are coming along nicely on it aren't you

  5. Wow, it is going to be beautiful and the finish line is in sight. I see you have drawn the lines of the hexagons on your fabric. Good idea , I learn from that.
Love the quilting too, do you do it all by hand? It looks so nice.

  13. You are really progressing in your quilt projects. The one you presented here is very unique; I haven’t seen any like this one in some sources. Like you, I am also excited for this one. I am also hoping to do it myself as well. I just love quilting.
