More and more piecing ...

I'm still working away on my Mrs Billings border. There are just soooooo many pieces, but I reached a milestone today. I've finished putting all the kite pieces together:

All 400 or so of them. The next step is to inset the triangles between the kite shapes. Background fabric triangles on the top, and coloured fabrics on the bottom.

I've made a great start ... four down ... three hundred and ninety six to go :-)

  1. Kudos for being so dedicated to this project. All of those pieces would have intimidated me for sure.

  2. I know this is soooo going to be worth it, but it seems overwhelming to me right now. Great job.

At least it will be a lot cooer today, so you won't be so hot and bothered while stitching up a storm :-)
