Laying low ...

It is soooo hot today, 39c, which is around 102f. I won't be doing anything strenuous, just some hand stitching in front of the TV with the air conditioning cranking.

These are the hexagons for the outer border of the Mrs Billings project. I need a BAZILLION of them. I'm not really at the point that I need them yet, but as per the Scout's motto - 'be prepared'.

Looking at the long term forecast here, I see that it's going to be 44c on Friday, which is 111f. Ohhh my goodness, think cool thoughts for me!! xox

  1. You blow some of that hot weather this way (across the pond to Washington State) and I'll blow some of our 28F cold weather to you. We should end up with a happy medium of about 70-80. Sound good? LOL!

that sounds good to me. at my house it is 40 F and windy. I'm staying indoors with a mug of tea and a stack of 9-patch blocks to piece together.

  9. I'm sure you're exaggerating and you only need a million hexies, not a bazillion :) However, I don't think you're exaggerating about the hideous heat! Sending cool thoughts.

  10. Love those hexies all stacked up like that. I imagine you'll be working away on these during our 2013 sewing sessions? Which reminds me I have hexies to finish too . Not looking forward to picking all the paper out ...

Dont even talk about the weather to me. My face melted yesterday .
