Nearly Insane Top Finished

OMG! Today is a big day ... I have finally finished the top of my Nearly Insane quilt! I'm entirely thrilled with how it looks.

The picture could be better, but I'm sure you'll forgive me - it's almost 10pm and so it's quite dark. But of course I couldn't wait until tomorrow morning to share.

Now I just have to wait until my backing fabric arrives, and I'll be able to get busy with the quilting. Happy days!

  6. Your fabric selection makes the quilt look calmer than the original quilt even though there is such a variety of blocks. Quite an accomplishment to be so close to the end.

Absolutely Fabulous - the quilt top but most of all, you, for soldiering on and nutting out all the little problems. I am over the moon for you and can't wait for the quilting to begin! Cos you know I'm as much about the quilting as the piecing now!!!
