I was so excited to get this row in place last night that I made so many rookie errors while doing the stitching. I really think I did more 'unsewing' than sewing. Seriously! And I was so into it that I lost track of time - I was jolted into reality when Marty came into the sewing room at 1.15am and asked if I would be thinking about sleeping anytime soon ... Ooops!

Another Nearly Insane Row
Last night I added another row to my Nearly Insane quilt. You can see that three of the corner blocks are in place, so I'm more than half way with the top now. (As long as you don't include the inner and outer border!)
Here is the full view of where I'm at ... hard to get a good shot of this ... the quilt is going to be a big girl!
And here's one a little closer, you can see some of the blocks a little better :-)

Just discovered your blog and have read back to April 2010. I'd like to receive your blog updates via e-mail. Can you make that happen? I know when I've asked other bloggers in the past they would do something with Feed Burner. Does that make sense to you? Thanks! Love your blog and love seeing all of your NI blocks. Awesome!! dmj53(at)hotmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteTazzie, This is such an outstanding quilt. I just love the colors. You should be so proud of your "big girl"!

Very beautiful! What size blocks? Do you do a block a week like the Civil War quilt?

ReplyDeleteTazzie,
ReplyDeleteI am a little farther along on my NI but my work is not as awesome as yours. Today I add a row. Hurrah! I think I have 25 more blocks to go. You don't need to respond to me.
It looks smashing! Where do you find the time for all those projects.
ReplyDeleteTHis is such a great quilt. It's going to be quite a masterpiece!
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is absolutely stunning. Beautiful, beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Amazing!
ReplyDeleteStunning! I think you are very smart to be assembling this as you go--such instant gratification rather than just a pile of blocks to look at! Time means nothing to me either when I sew or dream about quilts while pottering in my sewing area...
