My goodness! Isn't this arrangement an assault on the eyes!But you know what? I still quite like it. And by the time there is a whole quilt's worth of scraps used up, surely there will be a sizeable dent in my 2" scraps box. Be sure to look closely - some of those fabrics are OLD.
This may just become another of those leader and ender projects that bullies it's way into being a 'main' project. Let's see if it can hold my interest.
I really like it!!! That is why I really love scrap quilts, they are so spontaneous and asymetrical! I think I will copy your idea! I have LOTS of 2.5 inch squares that I need to do something with.

ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of those incredibly charming Kaffe Fassett busy quilts that are filled with pattern and texture and a million colors, only you used your own fabric. I like it too!
ReplyDeleteCleverly pieced in my humble opinion. Assault on the eyes? Hard to get there with that one but I know the feeling so I'll giggle along with ya and see what comes up. It looks like fun to piece. I may have said that once already but not sure. If I did in a previous comment, well, at least we'll know I'm serious about that "fun to piece" business.
