Quilting

Isn't it lucky I'm not a photographer for a living? :-)

I've been quilting on Betsy's quilt, and thought I'd share the border with you. For the second time ever, I'm doing some feathers with a curvy spine. For me, this is ground breaking!!

I'm really having fun, and that's what it's all about, right? :-)

  1. Well the photography may be like mine, but the quilting certainly isn't!
    That looks great.

  2. Yes, and your feathers look great! I'm doing leaves and realizing that if I go just the right speed, it works. Fun.

  4. Great feathers! Have you read 'Meandering Magic' by Suzanne Earley? well worth reading if you like your feathers curvy!

  5. Oh my gosh, yes it is. I'm right along side relating. I do smile during that brief moment when I first catch myself saying I'm having fun!, and I'm getting into the groove of it. I celebrate that for you!

  6. You're doing a wonderful job on the feathers. I have just barely started to machine quilt myself and this is much harder than you'd think, LOL! Cindy
