Charm Square Quilt

Right now I'm quilting on this top. It's one of those wonderful 'disappearing nine patch' quilts.

I made it a little while back, and I've probably shared it already, but I'm just thrilled to report that it's progressing from UFO status to almost finished status. I'd love to have it finished tomorrow. I can do it - I know I can! Sleep is highly overrated!!

  1. That's lovely and you what I really love about it? The mitred corners with that border fabric. Mitred corners do such a lot for a quilt and in that fabric it is perfect. We don't see nearly enough mitred corners as we should.

You've just given me a great idea for the Christmas charm packs I have here.

  10. I did a search for Disappearing Nine Patch quilts and came across yours. I like your color combo. I just made some blocks and am looking to see if there are different settings.

  11. How do you quilt on the top of this if you do not have straight lines to follow? Where the small squares and big squares line up, you can not just quilt on top of them. Do you just not quilt that at all? I am getting the 9 squares all sew together... ready to cut soon! Thanks for the great idea!
