This is another quilt that I don't plan to put a border on, and I had planned to use the biscuit coloured fabric in the foreground of the picture for the setting triangles around the edge of the quilt. I'm now thinking it may be a little boring.
I found the pictured Sturbridge II fabric in my stash, and I'm thinking I may use it for the setting triangles instead. What do you think?
Decisions, decisions ... I hope I don't lose sleep over it! :-)
It looks great.
ReplyDeleteI agree I think the sashng fabric would be a bit boring, this Sturbridge fabric works perfectly color wise and its going to be great cut up as triangles ...
ReplyDeletelove that fabric, I backed a quilt with it.

The print fabric is perfect!
ReplyDeleteLooks good, but how about another color all together? My eye keeps going to the teal-y blues in your scraps...would something like that work? Hope that isn't too obnoxious to suggest a new thing altogether!!
ReplyDeleteI bet it is going to look great no matter what you choose...sometimes too many choices are a bad thing!!
Love your quilts and cat!
ReplyDeleteEither would look good, but yes, I think I like the sturbridge fabric as the setting triangles best.
ReplyDeleteI like quilts without borders sometimes. Yours looks great!

Perfect! Go for it.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! Everything you do looks great! LOL
ReplyDeleteI think either would be okay, but the Sturbridge print better. I, too, was thinking about perhaps something either the blues. If you are doing it totally out of stash, I think this one is just fine. =)
ReplyDeleteI love your choice of border fabric - it brings together the biscuit and the purple fabrics quite nicely, and adds more interest.
