My favorite thing about Kaffe's lecture was I realized he is a traditional quilter and he made me feel good that I am one too. &:-DLindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07081484181619527642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18687499.post-22876791549916241362010-05-11T05:21:16.564+09:302010-05-11T05:21:16.564+09:30I have always admired the saturated colors in his ...I have always admired the saturated colors in his work...and only have a few prints that are definitely his. I still looking for the right pattern.
Regards,
Annaquiltmom annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01976120921532056369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18687499.post-49515962275087883312010-05-10T04:26:25.914+09:302010-05-10T04:26:25.914+09:30Tazzie,

I am not sure what changed my mind. His fabrics are not readily available here in Canada, and those that are, are quite expensive ( about 19 dollars a meter) I found some on line from the States and from a Toronto store that were significantly less than that ( less than half price) I still haven't what I am going to do with them. I recently bought his newest book also.
The thing about quilt photos is that they often do not do the pieces justice. Not able to capture the richness of the colors.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful experience.
Regards,
Annaquiltmom annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01976120921532056369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18687499.post-3951261384822487722010-05-09T21:28:54.959+09:302010-05-09T21:28:54.959+09:30I like his quilts when done by other people but fo...I like his quilts when done by other people but for some reason I can't buy the fabric or make his quilts myself - perhaps I'm afraid of colour or the clashes. I love the individual fabrics, though. Very envious of the lecture!Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15198119176772158393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18687499.post-15448140677026855462010-05-09T05:17:45.869+09:302010-05-09T05:17:45.869+09:30If the man's into such bold, vibrant colors, w...If the man's into such bold, vibrant colors, why is he wearing that muddy, brown drab stripey shirt and knitting with what looks like beige yarn? :DForestJanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05536396154296555583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18687499.post-21977945324415526942010-05-08T21:40:56.960+09:302010-05-08T21:40:56.960+09:30oh wow way way kewl..I just today got one of his b...oh wow way way kewl..I just today got one of his book-maybe be a couple years old..just posted about it on my blog..his work is busy but I belive can be doen other ways with diff fabric, cheers Vickie
lucky lucky youVickiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02152264077328052247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18687499.post-42446807414427932482010-05-08T17:10:13.021+09:302010-05-08T17:10:13.021+09:30I'll probably never make one of his quilts and...I'll probably never make one of his quilts and I find the fabric busy but I cant resist buying his books.
